Delete your account
You can delete your Merkury Smart account from our system anytime by making a request on the app, on the web or by emailing the support team. If you choose to delete your account, our system will permanently remove your personal information and make requests to third-party service providers to remove information linked to your account. You will not be able to access the account once it is deleted.
To submit a delete request in the app;
- After signing in to your account in the app, tap on the Account page.
- On the Account page, tap on About.
- On the About page, tap on Privacy.
- On the Privacy page, tap on Privacy Settings.
- On the Privacy Settings page, tap on Delete Account button option at the bottom of the page.
- Review the information on the Delete Account page before confirming you want to delete your account.
- The app will automatically sign you out and submit a request to our support team.
To submit a delete request from the web;
- After signing in to your account (https://account.merkurysmart.com), tap on the three dot menu next to your account name.
- Select Delete Account from the options that appear in the menu.
- Review the information on the Delete Account pop up before confirming your want to delete your account.
- The website will automatically sign you out and submit a request to our support team.
To submit a delete request via email
Send an email to support@merkurysmart.com and include the email address associated with your account in the request.
When you submit a request to delete your account your Merkury Smart products and services will no longer work. You can return to Merkury Smart anytime and create a new account to use with your devices.
