How do I get to the other functions of the light bulb, like changing color?

From the light bulb tile on the Home screen, simply tap anywhere on the tile except for on the bulb icon in the lower left.  This will open the additional features screen, where you can control the light bulb color, white color temperature, and get access to Scenes and Rules.
